I don't know how to attach the json file for the node-red flow. You should configure "The Frame 32", "Samsung The Frame 32", "TvOff" and "TvOn" nodes with your token and select your device. If the PC is turn off, and the TV is not in the state it should, it turns the TV on or off. Then, every 5 minutes, checks if the PC is alive through ping, and the TV state. The flow determine if is day or night depending on the "Sun rise/set" node configuration. I'm using it as a monitor, so I want to turn the tv on during the day, and turn it off at night (only if I'm not using the PC).įirst, you need to instal theese three for node-red:Īnd you need a token for your smartthings account: My use-case scenario is a PC connected to the tv. I'm going to share my node-red flow, in case it helps anyone. I started looking the smartthings api documentation to implement it, and luckly there is a wonderful library for node-red that implements it for you. I don't se any 3.5mm connector or any other way to connect it to a db9 interface. I tried the ex link aproach, to send the on/off commands to the tv but. The ambient light sensor doesn't work very well, but even then, the TV doesn't have the function to start automatically with ambient light (you can turn it off, but not on. I'm a bit disapointed about the missing functionalities of the 32" model.
